The new financial year is here, and for once, the data is actually backing up the energy in the room.

HRAsia just dropped their Q2 2026 Employment Outlook Survey, and India's Net Employment Outlook hit a record 68%, the strongest reading since tracking began in 2008, up 17 points from last quarter and 24 points higher year-on-year. 

In volume terms, Automotive is expecting the largest net headcount additions this quarter, followed closely by IT and Tech services. Finance and Insurance isn't far behind, clocking an outlook of 71% and ranking India #1 globally for that sector. 

Basically, the budgets are open, roles are live and hiring is going to explode 💣
